It seems to me, locust, that you were playing like usual for the first 5-6 minutes, then all of a sudden you gave up and started charging. I say no more.

As for the "other game", I doubt that getting demos of the IoP/DVDAlright servers (I guess it was played there) is possible anymore. They get recorded, but you can't get them off the server. It's been like that for quite some time now.

Saying reppie isn't among top 3 when he's in shape is ridiculous. He showed he's top 3 on the QH LAN where dag and griffin were as well and he ended 2nd.

Imo Griffin is the best qw player out there.

griffin is so skilled in both tdm and duels and in 2v2.

i have watched grffn play this game for over the last 6 or 7 years, and he has gotten better and better. in the last 4 years or so, his ability i n tdm has gotten so precise and tight. i can only think of a few duellers who are in the same league as grffn on dm4; and i think you'd have to match them up against grffn in their prime to see where the game might go. unfortunately some of the greatest dm4 duellers aren't playing any longer, and their older style and skill set would be like comparing oranges and apples to today's playing style and successful skillset.

The only map grffn has never excelled on among the big 5 maps....is dm6. i know some will say his team didn't plAYy dm3 well, but that is beside the point; his own skills on dm3 were topnotch.

but if you want to tALK about grffn there are really on 3 maps worth talking about him on: dm4, dm2 and e1m2.

trashing a famous player who has the guts to stick his neck out and play with real nick on open server shouldn't exactly be applauded. however, the griffin-tiger match DID make for a very nice game since, for once, both players made real efforts to win.

play how you like, who you like and post what you like - but keep the trash talk and arrogant shit out of qw. basically everyone who plays this game now has been active for years and deserves respect for sticking to the game. trashtalking about gamers that have years and years of experience is simply wrong. play it and post it, but let's show the proper respect for both the old and new school as well. if the rising stars just show some modesty and respect for their oldschool opponents - everythings gonna be alright, mmkay.

I see LocKust point, i agree most of what he said. Every dog got its day, even if he played serious first 6-7 mins and then gets bad spawns, its very easy to drop it, especially when its not an official game:) dm4 is very random, when both playrs are skilled and have _good_ routine, one little jump missed can turn the map upside down. It depends on the players skill that day, thats when "Every dog got its day" comes in:O) back to w?rk.

the best dm6 games i ever saw were between griffin and dag (with griffin beating dag more than once)

as for top dm4 player, there is no such thing.. dm4 is such a map that its impossible to be number one. but locust as much as i like you you cant really say that griffin is not ONE of the best...

And razor im not having a problem loosing. I did try my best in the first minutes but I noticed pretty fast that it wasnt working.Still said "GG" and wanted an rematch.

Griffin did whine cus he thought I was playing defensive, which wasnt the case - I played more aggressive than I used to do and if it would have been off-games I would have been even more careful.
That was like a year ago or so. Dont rembember much from the games other than I was surprised that he was whining, which is unusual from Griffins pov.
So Im not really surprised if he whined now too, especially since he obviously isnt in shape.

not being in shape is probably the single most frequent reason when whining. knowing, and sometimes loosing becouse of it, that u play so much worse then u 'should'. its so annoying and frustrating.
